        "content": "<p>The Bangli Regency Government (Pemkab Bangli) has allocated funds\namounting to more than Rp 4.2 billion for the protection of workers. A\ntotal of 1,473 workers in Bangli will receive protection through the\npayment of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan contributions from these funds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProtection for 1,473 vulnerable workers in Bangli Regency in the\n2026 Regional Budget. For 1,473 vulnerable workers with a budget amount\nof Rp 296,956,800,\u201d said the Head of the Cooperative, SME, and Labour\nOffice of Bangli, Ni Luh Ketut Wardani, when contacted by detikBali on\nFriday (24\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Wardani stated that the hundreds of millions in funds from Bangli\u2019s\nRegional Budget will provide protection for thousands of workers for 12\nmonths or one year. All 1,473 workers have been registered in the data\nof the East Bali Branch of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe BPJS Ketenagakerjaan protection applies for 12 months,\u201d said\nWardani.<\/p>\n<p>Wardani mentioned that the Rp 296 million allocated from Bangli\u2019s\nRegional Budget is not the only funding. Funds amounting to Rp 4 billion\nwere obtained by Pemkab Bangli from the Bali Provincial Government.<\/p>\n<p>Therefore, three regional apparatus organisations have been asked to\nfacilitate BPJS participation for these thousands of workers. The Bangli\nInvestment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) has been\nasked to cut bureaucratic and licensing processes that hinder workers\nfrom registering as BPJS Ketenagakerjaan participants.<\/p>\n<p>The Bangli Public Works and Public Housing Office (PUPR) has also\nbeen instructed to ensure that all workers equip themselves with all\nsocial security guarantees. Meanwhile, the Bangli Social Office has been\nasked to ensure that the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan assistance is received by\neligible workers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIntensive coordination with the Provincial Government has also\nyielded sweet results in the form of additional budget support of Rp 4\nbillion to expand the coverage of social security protection in Bangli,\u201d\nshe said.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of the East Bali Branch of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, Venina,\nstated that there are several benefits obtained by the participants.
