        "content": "<p>The Bandung Regency Government in West Java is accelerating the\ncompletion of 230 Merah Putih Village Cooperative (KDKMP) outlets that\nremain unfinished out of a total of 280 villages and sub-districts in\nthe region.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in Bandung on Friday, the Regent of Bandung, Dadang\nSupriatna, stated that currently only about 50 villages have completed\ntheir outlet construction, making acceleration necessary so that the\ncooperatives can begin operations immediately.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Merah Putih Village Cooperative is one of the Asta Cita\nprogrammes aimed at reviving the spirit of mutual cooperation (gotong\nroyong), and currently, about 50 outlets have been completed,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>He requested that village governments immediately coordinate to speed\nup the construction of these outlets, while also leveraging potential\nsupport from various parties to ensure the completion of cooperative\nfacilities meets necessary requirements.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn Nagrak Village, the cooperative is already self-sufficient; only\nthe physical outlet remains to be finished,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Dadang noted that the existence of these outlets is a vital component\nin supporting cooperative operations, ensuring that the Merah and White\nVillage Cooperative does not stop at institutional formation but can\nactively drive community economic activities.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the acceleration of outlet construction must be\ncarried out through coordination between the regional government and\nvillage governments, including identifying needs and the support\nrequired to finalise construction.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the Merah Putih Village Cooperative is expected to\nserve as a hub for community economic activities while strengthening the\nspirit of mutual cooperation in managing economic potential at the\nvillage level.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEssentially, the government must be present through policies and\nprogrammes that address the needs of the community,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n<p>The Bandung Regency Government hopes that the completion of the 230\noutlets can be accelerated gradually so that all Merah Putih Village\nCooperatives in Bandung Regency possess adequate operational facilities\nand can provide economic benefits to the community.<\/p>",
