        "content": "<p>Bandung City (ANTARA) - The Bandung City Government has assured that\nthe process of transporting waste to the Sarimukti Landfill is now\nrunning again, allowing waste management at several points to gradually\nreturn to normal conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the Bandung City Environmental Agency (DLH), Darto, stated\nthat the rubbish accumulation that occurred previously had been\nanticipated due to transportation restrictions over the past few\ndays.<\/p>\n<p>Darto explained that based on monitoring through the Smart Waste\nManagement (SWM) system, transportation and processing activities have\nbeen underway at various points in Bandung City.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTransportation is already running, processing is also running. This\nafternoon, a significant reduction is projected at several points,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, he added, several Temporary Waste Collection Sites\n(TPS) are still experiencing pile-ups due to rubbish from previous days\nand daily transportation quota limitations.<\/p>\n<p>Several points of concern include those in the Ciwastra, Cijambe, and\nJalan Indramayu areas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe ensure that handling has been carried out at those locations,\nalthough the waste volume cannot be fully addressed in one day,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>He estimated that waste processing achievements will continue to\nincrease until the evening, with a target for all sub-districts to reach\nat least 50 percent of the daily target.<\/p>\n<p>Darto emphasised that starting tomorrow, waste management will be\ngradually intensified, both in terms of transportation to TPS,\ntransportation to the Landfill (TPA), and on-site processing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTomorrow, it can return to normal, both transportation to TPS, to\nTPA, and processing will be increased again,\u201d he stated.<\/p>",
