        "content": "<p>The West Java Provincial Government has agreed to establish trade and\ninvestment cooperation with the Malaysian state of Selangor, commencing\nwith a conference at the Pullman Hotel in Bandung from Thursday to\nFriday, 9-10 July 2026. \u201cThis conference aims to encourage industrial\ninvestment and foster long-term partnerships between two economic\npowers, namely Selangor and West Java,\u201d said Dedi Taufik, Head of the\nInvestment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office, on Sunday, 5 July\n2026. On the first day, the conference was opened with remarks from West\nJava Governor Dedi Mulyadi and Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan. This was\nfollowed by a presentation from a West Java representative regarding the\nprovince\u2019s infrastructure plans, while a Selangor representative\npresented on industrial developments in the state. The conference also\nfeatured panel discussions exploring potential cooperation in supply\nchains, business, and finance between Indonesia and Malaysia. On the\nsecond day, the Selangor delegation planned field visits to several\nindustrial centres in West Java to explore collaboration in aerospace,\nrailways, the creative industry, energy, property, and technology. The\nconference also provided an opportunity for Malaysian and Indonesian\ninstitutions to cooperate, for example between Universiti Selangor and\nInstitut Teknologi Bandung, Tourism Selangor and Batik Air, Tourism\nSelangor and the Association of Indonesian Tour and Travel Agencies\n(Asita), as well as Wanita Berdaya Selangor and Bappenas. Dedi stated\nthat the cooperation involves the West Java Chamber of Commerce and\nIndustry (Kadin Jabar) and Invest Selangor Berhad, the investment agency\nof Selangor. The conference also featured 30 booths from Selangor health\nand education institutions, including Ampang Putri Specialist Hospital,\nMSU Medical Centre, Kajang Plaza Medical Centre, Universiti Selangor,\nUniversiti Tenaga Nasional, and Universiti Islam Selangor. Dedi added\nthat beyond the Bandung conference, the cooperation will be followed up\nat the Selangor International Business Summit 2026 on 14-17 October 2026\nat the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) in Malaysia.<\/p>",
