A total of 440\nflights were grounded from Thursday, 19 March 2026, at 06:00 WITA until\nFriday, 20 March 2026, at 06:00 WITA.<\/p>\n<p>Observations by detikBali around 06:42 WITA on Friday (20\/3\/2026)\nshowed prospective passengers beginning to arrive at the arrivals\nterminal of Ngurah Rai Airport. Queues were already forming at airline\ncheck-in counters at the airport.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, several airport employees started opening their stalls\nfollowing the Nyepi closure. In contrast, the domestic arrivals terminal\nremained relatively quiet. Only a few people were taking selfies in\nfront of the iconic Bali sign.<\/p>\n<p>One passenger, Muhammad Robin, shared that it was his first time\nexperiencing the Nyepi atmosphere on the Island of the Gods.
