        "content": "<p>According to Bali Police public information head AKBP Rina Isriana\nDewi, the case was uncovered following public information about\nsuspected narcotics distribution in the Cokroaminoto area, Denpasar\nUtara. The Operations Team immediately carried out an investigation.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The Operations Team of Unit 3, Sub-directorate 3 of the Bali\nPolice\u2019s Directorate of Narcotics then conducted the investigation and\nsecured the suspect at a rented room in Gang Jatayu, Jalan Cokroaminoto,\nDenpasar Utara,\u2019 Rina said, as reported by Antara, Saturday 23 May\n2026.<\/p>\n<p>From the search at the first location, police found six clear crystal\npackets believed to be meth with a total gross weight of 2,375.96 grams\nor 2,250.44 grams net. The evidence was kept in a black shopping bag. In\naddition to the meth, police also seized one mobile phone believed to\nhave been used by the suspect to communicate about the narcotics\ndistribution.<\/p>\n<p>Officers then carried out further development and searches at the\nsuspect\u2019s residence in Benoa, Kuta Selatan, Badung. At the second\nlocation, police found equipment supporting the narcotics operation\nincluding clear plastic clips, a digital scale, a spoon, and a black\ncloth bag.<\/p>\n<p>Based on initial examinations, the suspect admitted to obtaining the\nmeth from someone whose identity is still being investigated by the\npolice.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The perpetrator kept the narcotics for redistribution,\u2019 Rina\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Currently the suspect and the evidence have been secured at the Bali\nPolice\u2019s Directorate of Narcotics for further investigation. For the\noffence, the suspect faces charges under Article 114(2) of the Narcotics\nLaw with a potential penalty of life imprisonment or up to 20 years in\nprison.<\/p>",
