        "content": "<p>\u201cWe do not tolerate abuse of stay permits, including violating\nIndonesian law and norms,\u201d the head of Denpasar Immigration R Haryo\nSakti noted on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>He explained the three female foreign nationals are Russian nationals\nwith the initials ED and AR and one Nigerian national with the initials\nEJN.<\/p>\n<p>The three women aged between 21 and 27 are currently being held at\nthe Denpasar Immigration Office for further questioning regarding the\nillegal practice.<\/p>\n<p>Sakti explained that they were arrested from different locations with\nEJN and ED apprehended at a villa in the Mengwi area of Badung\nDistrict.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, they hold visitor stay permits where EJN entered\nIndonesia through Soekarno Hatta International Airport on March 21\n2026.<\/p>\n<p>The head of immigration noted that ED entered the country through I\nGusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on March 10 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile AR also holds a visitor residence permit and is known to\nhave entered Indonesia on April 22 2026 before being arrested at a hotel\nin Renon area of Denpasar.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAR was arrested in a hotel room with a man after their identities\nwere confirmed through the immigration data system,\u201d Sakti outlined.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasized that foreign nationals must comply with Indonesian laws\nand contribute positively to tourist destinations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlthough Indonesia provides easy immigration services to foreign\nnationals, this does not mean they can break the law,\u201d he pointed\nout.<\/p>\n<p>While intelligence and enforcement officers are examining the\nsuspects, Sakti said the three women are at high risk of being deported\nfrom Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore they may also face entry restrictions to Indonesia under\nLaw Number 6 of 2011 on immigration.<\/p>\n<p>Such deterrence can be imposed for a minimum of six months and is\ndetermined by the Directorate General of Immigration in Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>Related news: Three Chinese nationals arrested in Bali over Bogor\ntheft case<\/p>\n<p>Related news: Bali police bust Cambodia-linked online gambling\nring<\/p>\n<p>Translator: Dewa Ketut S W, Resinta Sulistiyandari<\/p>",
