For women, bags have become a complimentary fashion accessory to
\nachieve their best look. The style and trend of bags has also
\nmoved along with the fashion industry.<\/p>\n
Noted fashion houses have always carefully designed the bags
\nand even remade the once-hit style. Each house will highlight its
\ncharacter in the design which will give the benefit for their
\nloyal consumers in choosing the distinctive styles from the
\nhouses. The diverse options will enable the women to pick the
\nbest that fit their needs and taste.<\/p>\n
Paris-based Louis Vuitton fashion house and prominent Italian
\nbrand Gianni Versace presented their leather bag collections to
\nconclude the year 2002 and to welcome 2003.<\/p>\n
Besides its Christmas collection -- including the limited-
\nedition America Cube bag (from the Louis Vuitton cup 2002-2003),
\nMonogram Vernis Fluo (designed by talented stage designer Robert
\nWilson) and Monogram Ambre bag (from the Cruise 2002 collection)
\n-- Louis Vuitton reinvents the Papillon (butterfly) bag with
\nnatural cowhide straps in the shape of a butterfly.<\/p>\n
Inspired by a young lady walking down the Champs Elysees
\nholding a city bag, Henry-Louis Vuitton had the idea of creating
\na new model of city bag which he called Papillon. The bag was a
\nhit in 1966.<\/p>\n
Created in monogram canvas, the city bag was created in the
\nmodern roundness, rolled and slender shape. It was accentuated
\nwith a natural calfskin handle and was produced in only two
\nversions.<\/p>\n
\"What differentiates it from others? It is timeless but also
\nmodern, feminine and fun. It moves, it changes and is versatile
\non the arm, shoulder or in the hand,\" said Cicilia King of Louis
\nVuitton Indonesia.<\/p>\n
The American Cube bag was said to be the clever concept that
\ncombined two different functions. It could be unfolded into an
\nextra-flat bag that could be carried on a shoulder strap for
\nshort journeys or could be transformed into a cube-shaped bag
\nideal for any trip.<\/p>\n
The American came in white with a shoulder strap emblazoned
\nwith the words \"Louis Vuitton Cup\" in neon orange.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Versace presented leather bags for their
\nSpring\/Summer 2003 collection in predominantly pastel colors of
\npurple, soft pink, yellow and turquoise.<\/p>\n
The hand bags include Patch Satchel, Satchel, Rodeo, Rainbow
\nBuckle, Patch Bow, Mesh Hobo, Woven Halfmoon, Lemon Peardrop,
\nCroc Bucket, DV Odyssey Bag and DV Belt-bag (suede). They were
\nall designed with short leather straps.<\/p>\n
The masculine touches, typically Versace, included metal
\nornaments such as metal rings, cowboy belt buckles and steel
\nspirals.<\/p>\n
Some came in a single color like the Satchel in white, Lemon
\nPeardrop in lemon yellow, Mesh Hobo also in white. Other types
\nhave color combinations to accentuate the shape and the contour.<\/p>\n
As was shown in stunning designs in fashion and its
\naccessories, Versace again brought an extraordinary concept of a
\nhandbag. It has moved from a conventional shape to a more
\ncreative outline like the Mesh Hobo, Woven Halfmoon, Lemon
\nPeardrop had half circle shape.<\/p>\n
The Spring\/Summer handbag batch was definitely expected to go
\nalong with the latest shoes collection.<\/p>\n
The footwear collection included Barbie Turquoise Sling, Barbi
\nPurple Court, Barbi Yellow Sling, St Tropez (fuscia), Trocadero
\n(knee boot) and Vegas (silver, anthracite and yellow).<\/p>\n
The Barbi shoes appeared more feminine with the choice of
\ncolors as well as the details. The collection used woven leather
\nwhich was tied at the end into a lanky ribbon. The Barbi came
\nwith three-color combinations.<\/p>\n
Coming with less details, St Tropez looked more suitable for
\nmature and elegant women while the knee-high-boot Trocadero
\ncollections would fit energetic and dynamic women because of
\ntheir stylish (with minimal details) fabric of the boot and the
\ncolor selections of silver, dark purple and light pink.<\/p>\n
The newest collection would definitely replace the old ones
\nbut as guaranteed products, the items were still worth
\ncollecting. The world fashion history must have patented those
\ncollections as the refined branded accessories which wrapped up
\n2002 and kicked off the 2003.<\/p>",
