        "content": "<p>A man identified by initials AS (38) was arrested by police after\nstealing from RSUD Lombok Utara, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). A resident of\nGangga, North Lombok, he stole belongings belonging to a visitor who was\nlooking after his relative undergoing treatment at the hospital. The\nHead of the Criminal Investigation Unit of North Lombok Police, Iptu I\nKomang Wilandra, said the suspect was arrested on Friday (22 May 2026)\nin the Gangga area. \u2018The arrest began from the victim\u2019s report that his\nvaluable items went missing while he was looking after his relative who\nwas admitted at RSUD Lombok Utara,\u2019 Komang said on Saturday (23 May\n2026). The theft occurred on Wednesday (20 May 2026) in the hospital\u2019s\nfamily waiting area. The victim was resting while tending to his parent\nwho was admitted. \u2018The victim placed a black shoulder bag beside his\nresting place. When he woke up, the bag was missing,\u2019 he said. The bag\ncontained one iPhone 11, an ATM card, a motorcycle key, a power bank and\nRp 450,000 in cash. In his report, the victim suffered a loss of Rp 5\nmillion. After receiving the report, police conducted an investigation.\nFrom witness statements and CCTV footage, officers were able to identify\nthe suspect and secure him. \u2018During interrogation, the suspect initially\ndenied it. But after further questioning, he admitted to the act,\u2019 he\nsaid. The suspect hid the stolen goods in a rice-field area in Dusun\nOman Telaga, Sambik Bangkol, Gangga District. \u2018The stolen items have\nbeen recovered,\u2019 Wilandra said. Currently, the suspect and the evidence\nhave been secured for further legal proceedings. For his actions, the\nsuspect is charged under Article 476 KUHP of Law Number 1 of 2023\nconcerning the KUHP.<\/p>",
