        "content": "<p>The Badung Regency Government in Bali is committed to continuing its\nsupport for strengthening the customary-based economy, as has been\ncarried out by hundreds of village credit institutions (LPD) in its\nterritory.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are fully committed to supporting the existence of LPDs, not only\nin terms of capital but also through strengthening the macroeconomic\necosystem,\u201d said Badung Regent I Wayan Adi Arnawa in his statement in\nMangupura on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>He said that synergy among all parties, including LPDs, is\nparticularly important in the process of building the economic\necosystem. His administration is also continuing to improve this\ndevelopment, starting with the infrastructure sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe that with infrastructure, people will be increasingly\ncomfortable investing. As a result, the economy will grow and will have\nan impact on the income of the people of Badung in particular, and Bali\nin general,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Regent Adi Arnawa also expressed appreciation for the performance of\nthe Badung LPD Cooperation Agency (BKS-LPD), which through the\ncelebration of its 26th anniversary continues to build synergy in\nrealising healthy, strong, and sustainable LPDs and sovereign customary\nvillages.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope that BKS-LPD Badung will continue to foster a sense of\ntogetherness, become more advanced and productive, and remain steadfast\nin the principles of Tri Hita Karana,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The Chairman of BKS-LPD Bali Province, Nyoman Cendikiawan, added that\nthe existence of LPDs in Badung has become a barometer at the provincial\nlevel, with many of its work programmes adopted by BKS-LPD Bali\nProvince.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, Badung Regency has 122 LPDs supported by 1,331 employees,\nwith total assets reaching Rp11 trillion, making a significant\ncontribution to Bali\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe total assets of LPDs across Bali Province currently reach Rp36\ntrillion, and 31 percent of these total assets come from Badung LPDs.\nLet us together continue to maintain LPDs so that they remain relevant\nand thriving in order to preserve Balinese art, customs, and culture,\u201d\nhe added.<\/p>",
