B2B firm to launch IPO<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): PT Global Jaringan Nusantara, the Indonesian
\nunit of Hongkong-based B2B e-marketplace provider Global Sources
\nplans to launch a domestic initial public offering (IP0) in
\nOctober.<\/p>\n
Company spokeswoman Tien Hartono said on Tuesday that Global
\nJaringan, which was established last year, needed fresh funds to
\nboost its working capital.<\/p>\n
\"We're quite optimistic that we will be successful in our
\nIPO,\" she told The Jakarta Post during a media briefing.<\/p>\n
She didn't provide details of the IPO plan.<\/p>\n
Tien said that the firm's business-to-business (B2B)
\noperations had some 100,000 buyers all over the world as part of
\na network with Global Sources.<\/p>\n
Currently, about 40 Indonesian producers of furniture
\nproducts, handicrafts, textiles, footwear, leather, food and
\nbeverages had became members of the company's B2B e-marketplace,
\nshe added.<\/p>\n
This includes Jakarta-based furniture-maker The Batavian,
\nYogyakarta-based handicraft-maker Batavia Connection and Cirebon-
\nbased rattan furniture producer CV Putra Mas.<\/p>\n
Aside from B2B e-marketplace, the company, whose homepage
