        "content": "<p>Ayala forms unit for Asia<\/p>\n<p>MANILA (Reuter): Philippine firm Ayala Land Inc said it has<br>\nfloated a new firm in Singapore for property development projects<br>\nin Asia in joint venture with the international investment arm of<br>\nits parent firm, Ayala Corp.<\/p>\n<p>Ayala Land assistant corporate secretary Renato Marzan said<br>\nyesterday Ayala Land and Ayala International Pte Ltd would hold<br>\nequal stakes in Ayala International Properties Pte Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>\"The (new) company will allow its principals to pursue<br>\ncollaboration with key players in the region and build a regional<br>\nproperty portfolio with initial emphasis on the ASEAN market,\"<br>\nMarzan said.<\/p>\n<p>Marzan said Ayala Land would transfer its investment in PT<br>\nMenara Duta to Ayala International Properties as its initial<br>\ncontribution in the new company.<\/p>\n<p>Late last year, Ayala Land had said it invested $11 million<br>\nfor a 25 percent stake in PT Menara Duta, the property<br>\ndevelopment unit of Tiga Raksa of Indonesia.<\/p>",
