Awards for good services<\/p>\n
BOGOR (JP): PDAM Bogor water company and the Bogor branch of
\nWest Java Province-owned Bank (BPD) have been awarded Abdi Satya
\nBhakti awards for their achievements in services.<\/p>\n
The awards, which were handed over by President Soeharto at
\nthe State Palace yesterday, were paraded around Bogor by Bogor
\nMayor Eddy Gunardi earlier in the day.<\/p>\n
It is the third Abdi Satya Bhakti award PDAM Bogor has won
\nsince 1995, and BPD Bogor's first, Eddy said.<\/p>\n
Eddy hoped the award presentations would help promote the work
\nethics of all employees of the Bogor mayoralty. \"Hopefully such
\nethics can be maintained by all employees,\" he said.<\/p>\n
PDAM Bogor's president, Daslim Saibi, said his company, which
\nhas about 30,000 customers, constitutes one of the major revenue
\ncontributors to the mayoralty.<\/p>\n
\"In the 1996\/1997 fiscal year alone, the company's revenue
\ncontribution reached about Rp 1.7 billion (US$641,500),\" he said.
