The public has been urged to avoid several roads around Senayan,\nparticularly the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) complex in Jakarta, because\nseveral large-scale events are being held there at the same time.<\/p>\n
A total of four events are taking place at Indonesia\u2019s largest sports\ncomplex on Saturday (24 October), ranging from a running festival and a\nmusic concert to a fan meeting with a Korean actor.<\/p>\n
Jakarta\u2019s Transportation Agency has announced traffic diversions for\n24\u201325 October due to the Jakarta Running Festival 2026.<\/p>\n
To avoid congestion around GBK and Senayan, motorists may consider\nseveral alternative routes previously used when major events have been\nheld in the area.<\/p>\n
Those travelling from Pancoran or Cawang to Blok M can take Jalan HR\nRasuna Said, Kapten Tendean, Wolter Monginsidi and Trunojoyo.<\/p>\n
Drivers heading from Pancoran to Slipi may consider taking HR Rasuna\nSaid, Prof.\u00a0Dr.\u00a0Satrio, KH Mas Mansyur and Pejompongan.<\/p>\n
Some Transjakarta services will also have adjusted routes and\noperating hours on 24\u201325 October. On Saturday (24 October), several\nroutes will begin operating only at 9am WIB, including:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Route 1B: Palmerah Station\u2013Dukuh Atas Transport Hub.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Route 1F: Palmerah Station\u2013Bundaran Senayan.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Route 1P: Senen\u2013Blok M.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Routes 6A and 6B: Ragunan\u2013City Hall via Kuningan and Semanggi.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Route 8N: Kebayoran\u2013Petamburan via Asia Afrika.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Route 9C: Pinang Ranti\u2013Bundaran Senayan.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Route 9D: Pasar Minggu\u2013Tanah Abang.<\/p>\n
Participants and visitors have also been encouraged to use public\ntransport, including Transjakarta, the MRT, LRT and commuter rail (KRL),\nto reduce private vehicle congestion around GBK.<\/p>\n
The following events are scheduled to take place in the area on\nSaturday (24 October 2026).<\/p>\n
The Jakarta Running Festival runs from 22 to 25 October 2026. On\nSaturday (24 October), the 21.097-kilometre half-marathon starts at\n4.30am WIB, followed by the 5K at 5.15am.<\/p>\n
The Race Expo at Istora Senayan is also running from 22 to 25\nOctober. The exhibition features 130 brands, 49 local small and\nmedium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and around 250 communities.<\/p>\n
The BSI International Expo runs from 23 to 25 October 2026 at the\nJakarta International Convention Center (JICC) in Senayan.<\/p>\n
Saturday\u2019s programme includes a talk show with Dr Aisah Dahlan from\n11.30am to 12.30pm WIB; a fashion show featuring the Indonesian Fashion\nChamber, Shireen Sungkar and Chef Arnold from 1pm to 1.45pm; and a\nperformance by the band Wali from 8pm to 9pm.<\/p>\n
US singer YE, formerly known as Kanye West, is due to perform at the\nGelora Bung Karno Main Stadium on Saturday (24 October).<\/p>\n
According to the Ministry of Creative Economy\u2019s schedule, the event\nis set to run from 4pm until midnight WIB. The concert will feature a\n360-degree stage and immersive visual effects.<\/p>\n
South Korean actor Kim Bum is also scheduled to hold a fan meeting,\ntitled PAGE\u221e: Debut 20th Anniversary Tour in Jakarta, on Saturday (24\nOctober).<\/p>\n
The event will take place at Tennis Indoor Senayan from 6.30pm to\n10pm WIB.
