Auto-theft ring apprehended<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: Pamulang Police revealed on Friday they had arrested
\nsix men suspected of belonging to auto theft groups operating in
\nthe area.<\/p>\n
Five suspects, identified as Supriyadi, Musonif, Andriansyah,
\nPei Permana and Usup, apparently belong Lebak I, Lebak II and
\nLebak III groups. The three groups are connected.<\/p>\n
The sixth, Supriyatna, is reportedly a member of a separate
\ngroup called the Bogor group.<\/p>\n
The arrest of Supriyadi and Musonif led to the arrest of
\nAndriansyah, Pei Permana and Usup, the police said.<\/p>\n
The police are looking for 17 other suspects of the network,
\nseven of them allegedly the buyers of the stolen vehicles.<\/p>\n
These groups stole cars or motorcycles parked on streets or on
\nprivate premises. To gain entry to houses, they used bolt cutters
\nto cut the padlocks.--JP<\/p>",
