        "content": "<p>Aussie warships visit Ujungpandang<\/p>\n<p>UJUNGPANDANG, South Sulawesi: The guided missile frigates HMAS<br>\nAdelaide and HMAS Canberra are currently here on a four-day<br>\ngoodwill and operational stopover, Antara reported yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Malik B. Masry yesterday received the commanders of the<br>\ntwo warships, Capt. Raydon W. Gates, CSM, RAN, and Commander Matt<br>\nJ. Tripovich, CSC, RAN respectively. Each ship have a crew of<br>\naround 180 personnel.<\/p>\n<p>The commanders told the mayor they were impressed by the<br>\nbeauty of the beach at Ujungpandang, whose port will soon be<br>\ndeveloped into the largest in eastern Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>The Australian embassy's release said that the visit, to<br>\nconclude today, is the first for many of the ships' personnel.<br>\nActivities prepared for the guests include diving and visits to<br>\nplaces of historical and recreational interest in the areas.<br>\n(swe)<\/p>",
