        "content": "<p>The investigation team of the Attorney General\u2019s Office has\ntransferred former member of the Indonesian Ombudsman Yeka Hendra Fatika\nand evidence to the public prosecution team of the Central Jakarta\nDistrict Prosecutor\u2019s Office for immediate trial.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the Attorney General\u2019s Office Legal Information Centre Anang\nSupriatna said in Jakarta on Friday that the transfer relates to a\ncorruption case involving the deliberate prevention, obstruction, and\nthwarting of investigation, prosecution, and court examination in a\ncorruption case concerning the granting of crude palm oil export\nfacilities and its derivatives in the palm oil industry during the\nperiod January\u2013April 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The public prosecution team of the Central Jakarta District\nProsecutor\u2019s Office will prepare the indictment and transfer the case\nfile to the Corruption Crime Court at the Central Jakarta Class IA\nSpecial District Court.<\/p>\n<p>Suspect Yeka, he said, provided a manipulated final investigation\nreport to Marcella Santoso in exchange for a sum of money. The report\nwas subsequently used as consideration by the corporate party in\nadministrative court litigation and civil court litigation.<\/p>\n<p>These rulings were used in the case of the corporate defendants to\nthwart the proof of the elements of the public prosecutor\u2019s\nindictment.<\/p>\n<p>The panel of judges at the Central Jakarta Corruption Court, after\nreceiving bribes from Marcella Santoso, deliberately delayed proceedings\nto await the civil ruling based on the administrative court ruling and\nthe manipulated final investigation report, then used it to acquit the\ncorporate defendants on the grounds that the defendants\u2019 actions did not\nconstitute a criminal offence.<\/p>",
