        "content": "<p>The Attorney General\u2019s Office (AGO) will soon appoint structural\nofficials to fill positions at seven newly established District\nProsecutors\u2019 Offices (Kejari). The office is also preparing temporary\ninfrastructure to ensure the new branches can commence operations\nimmediately.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the AGO Legal Information Centre, Anang Supriatna, stated\nthat the appointments and temporary office preparations are being made\nso that the new Kejari can carry out their duties without delay. He\nadded that the construction of permanent buildings and full-scale\noperations will be implemented gradually.<\/p>\n<p>The establishment of the seven new offices follows the enactment of\nPresidential Regulation No.\u00a040 of 2026, signed by President Prabowo\nSubianto on 2 July 2026. The regulation mandates the creation of Kejari\nin Pangandaran (West Java), Serang Regency (Banten), Tana Tidung (North\nKalimantan), Kubu Raya (West Kalimantan), Lima Puluh Kota (West\nSumatra), Raja Ampat (Southwest Papua), and Pesisir Barat (Lampung).<\/p>\n<p>Anang explained that the new offices were formed to meet\ninstitutional needs in regions that now have their own local\ngovernments.
