        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Attorney General\u2019s Office has refuted\nformer Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Nadiem\nMakarim\u2019s statement regarding the involvement of prosecutors in\nsupervising the Chromebook procurement process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProsecutors in the Datun (Civil and State Administrative Law)\nDivision do not conduct monitoring or supervision of activities, so it\nis clear that the defendant has misunderstood the role of prosecutors or\nthe prosecutor\u2019s office that provides legal support in the field of\ncivil law and state administrative law,\u201d said Director of Prosecution at\nthe Attorney General\u2019s Office, Riono Budisantoso, when confirmed by\nKompas.com on Monday (30\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Riono stated that prosecutors in the Datun division are not involved\nin criminal law aspects in carrying out their duties.
