        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin revealed\nthat the Forest Area Control Task Force (Satgas PKH) has saved state\nfunds amounting to Rp 371.1 trillion since its initial\nestablishment.<\/p>\n<p>This was stated during the handover event of administrative fines,\nstate financial recoveries, and the repossession of forest areas in\nphase VI to the state, on Friday (10\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need to convey that Satgas PKH, since its formation in February\n2025 until now, has successfully carried out the recovery of state asset\nfinances reaching Rp 371,100,411,043,235,\u201d said Burhanuddin at the\nAttorney General\u2019s Office on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConversely, strong, intelligent, and targeted law enforcement will\nimprove governance, restore state losses, foster a healthy business\nclimate, and provide tangible impacts on the national economy,\u201d added\nthe Attorney General.<\/p>\n<p>He also emphasised the importance of firm law enforcement to maintain\nnational stability.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the state must not lose to mafia practices that\nexploit Indonesia\u2019s forest wealth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe ensure that forests, as a gift from Almighty God, are a blessing\nowned by the Indonesian nation and must be managed and preserved for the\npeople\u2019s interests, not just for the benefit of certain groups,\u201d he\nstated.<\/p>\n<p>The handover of the funds was witnessed directly by Indonesian\nPresident Prabowo Subianto and members of the Merah Putih Cabinet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe total amount of funds handed over is Rp 11,420,104,815,858,\nwhich will enter the state treasury,\u201d said Attorney General Sanitiar\nBurhanuddin on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>This amount consists of administrative fines in the forestry sector\ntotalling Rp 7,230,036,440,742, Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) from\nhandling corruption crimes by the Republic of Indonesia Prosecutor\u2019s\nOffice amounting to Rp 1,967,867,845,912, tax deposits for the period\nJanuary\u2013April 2026 of Rp 967,779,018,290, tax deposits from PT Agrinas\nPalma Nusantara as of 28 February 2026 of Rp 108,574,203,443, and PNBP\nfrom environmental fines of Rp 1,145,847,307,471.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Satgas PKH has also repossessed forest areas from the\nplantation and mining sectors.<\/p>\n<p>In the palm oil plantation sector, since February 2025 until now,\nSatgas PKH has repossessed forest areas covering 5,888,260.07\nhectares.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in the mining sector, the repossessed forest areas amount\nto 10,257.22 hectares.<\/p>\n<p>In phase VI, some of these forest areas were handed back to the\nMinistry of Forestry covering 254,780.12 hectares.<\/p>\n<p>These areas include convertible production forests in Ketapang\nRegency, West Kalimantan, spanning 149,198.09 hectares, Lae Kombih\nNature Reserve Forest in Subulussalam, Aceh, covering 510.03 hectares,\nand the Mount Halimun Salak Forest area in Bogor, West Java, spanning\n105,072 hectares.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, land covering 30,543.40 hectares was handed over to\nrelevant ministries\/institutions via the Ministry of Finance, then\ntransferred to BPI Danantara, and subsequently to PT Agrinas Palma\nNusantara (Persero).<\/p>",
