Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanudin has carried out a rotation and\nmutation of high-ranking officials in the Attorney General\u2019s Office\n(Kejagung), extending to Heads of Regional Prosecutors\u2019 Offices (Kajati)\nand District Prosecutors\u2019 Offices (Kajari).<\/p>\n

This rotation and mutation is outlined in the Decree of the Attorney\nGeneral of the Republic of Indonesia Numbers 347 and 488 of 2026, dated\n13 April 2026, as confirmed by the Head of the Legal Information Centre\nof Kejagung, Anang Supriatna.<\/p>\n

In the decree, the Attorney General has rotated Harli Siregar from\nKajati North Sumatra (Sumut). The former Head of the Centre for Criminal\nPolicy returns to the centre to become Inspector III at the Deputy\nAttorney General for Supervision of the Attorney General\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the vacant position of Kajati Sumut will be filled by\nMuhibuddin, who previously served as Kajati West Sumatra.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Agus Sahat Sampe Tua Lumban Gaol has been rotated from\nhis previous position as Kajati East Java. He has been promoted to\nSecretary of the Deputy Attorney General for General Criminal Affairs at\nthe Attorney General\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

After Sahat\u2019s departure, the position of Kajati East Java is now held\nby Abdul Qohar, who previously served as Kajati Southeast Sulawesi.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the Attorney General has rotated Hermon Dekristo, Kajati\nWest Java, to become Secretary of the Deputy Attorney General for\nMilitary Criminal Affairs at the Attorney General\u2019s Office. Meanwhile,\nthe position of Kajati West Java will be filled by Sutikno, who\npreviously served as Kajati Riau.<\/p>\n

In addition to Kajati positions, the Attorney General has rotated\nRiono Budisantoso from Director of Prosecution at the Special Crimes\nDivision of the Attorney General\u2019s Office to become Kajati Bangka\nBelitung.<\/p>\n

Danke Rajagukguk Removed from Kajari Karo<\/p>\n

Burhanuddin has also officially removed Danke Rajagukguk from his\nposition as Kajari Karo. In the decree, the Attorney General has\nappointed Edmond Novvery Purba as the new Kajari Karo.<\/p>\n

This removal was carried out by the Attorney General following a\ncorruption case involving videographer Amsal Christy Sitepu that had\nstirred public attention.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors assessed that the proposal submitted by Amsal to the\nvillage heads was not properly compiled and tended to be marked up.\nAdditionally, the implementation of the work was deemed not in\naccordance with the Bill of Quantities (RAB).<\/p>\n

Each video project was reportedly set at a cost of Rp30 million per\nvillage. According to prosecutors, from ideation to editing and dubbing\nfor the production of village profile videos, no costs were\nincurred.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the panel of judges at the Medan District Court acquitted\nAmsal Christy Sitepu of all charges brought by the prosecutors.\nAccording to the judges, Amsal was not proven guilty in a lawful and\nconvincing manner of committing the criminal offence as alleged by the\npublic prosecutor, both in the primary and subsidiary charges.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the case led Danke and the team at the Karo\nDistrict Prosecutors\u2019 Office to hold a meeting with Commission III of\nthe DPR some time ago.<\/p>\n
