The next development is\nmoving towards agentic AI, a system that not only answers questions but\nalso understands goals, formulates steps, uses various tools, connects\ninformation, and completes many tasks in stages.<\/p>\n<p>ASUS Indonesia Field Application Engineer Lead, Rifan Fernando,\nassessed that many current agentic AI tools are built for users who\nalready understand the technical side of AI. Users often have to choose\na model, set up the environment, connect tools one by one, and manage\naccess permissions, even before they truly know what the agent can\ndo.<\/p>\n<p>This gap between technological potential and user readiness underpins\nthe development of ASUS Zenni Claw, an AI agent platform designed by\nASUS to make agentic AI easier to install, use, and trust. According to\nRifan, this approach is built on four complementary practical pillars:\nease of installation, ready-to-use ASUS Skills, flexible local-cloud\nrouting, and built-in security protection. \u201cThese four pillars also\naddress more specific challenges in markets like Indonesia, where\ninterest in AI is growing rapidly, but the technical readiness of\neveryday users is still very diverse,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>As an illustration, he noted that many people are already accustomed\nto using AI chatbots to ask questions or write. However, when it comes\nto agentic AI that requires setting up an environment and connecting\nmany tools, most people do not yet understand it. \u201cYet that is where the\ngreatest value lies, when AI truly completes the work, not just helps\nwith thinking,\u201d said Rifan.<\/p>\n<p>The first pillar is ease of installation and use. Rifan explained\nthat Zenni Claw presents a guided installation flow that automatically\nchecks the system and prepares essential components. \u201cSo users can be\nready in just a few steps without having to touch the terminal or\nperform manual configuration,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The second pillar is ready-to-use ASUS Skills. Instead of being faced\nwith an empty chat column and confusion about where to start, users can\ndirectly run ready-made tasks such as drafting presentations, planning\ntravel itineraries, monitoring news according to their interests, and\npreparing daily summaries.<\/p>\n<p>The third pillar touches on the technical side, which is flexible\nlocal-cloud routing. Each task has different processing needs. Some\ntasks are better processed locally because they require fast response or\nstricter data control, while others are better directed to the cloud\nbecause they need greater computing capacity. \u201cASUS Zenni Claw is\ndesigned to automatically balance speed, capability, privacy, and API\ncosts according to the needs of each task, rather than burdening the\nuser with that decision,\u201d said Rifan.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the fourth pillar is security protection embedded from the\nstart. Because Zenni Claw interacts with files, prompts, tools, and\ncloud services, its architecture is equipped with containerized\nworkspace separation, security guardrails, sensitive data filtering,\nprompt-injection protection, and cloud access protected via a LiteLLM\nproxy. \u201cSimply put, this architecture helps keep the AI workflow more\ncontrolled, reduces the potential for risky behaviour, and protects\ncloud API keys from being directly exposed in the workflow,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>These four pillars are then translated into tangible benefits through\nthree categories of assistants. The Life Assistant helps users stay\ninformed through morning briefings, interest-based news tracking, and\nrecommendations for dining out with friends. The Travel Assistant pieces\ntogether travel plans such as monitoring flight ticket prices, compiling\ndaily itineraries, and recommending more authentic local destinations.\nMeanwhile, the Work Assistant helps transform raw notes into structured\noutput, from summarising meeting minutes and compiling action items to\ncreating initial presentation drafts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat we want to achieve is not just presenting sophisticated agentic\nAI technology, but ensuring that technology can truly be used by\nordinary people from day one, without needing to learn the technical\nlanguage of AI first,\u201d said Rifan. ASUS Zenni Claw is scheduled to be\navailable as a free download by the end of June 2026, covering ASUS\ndevices based on Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm.
