        "content": "<p>Astra held the Roadshow for the 17th SATU Indonesia Awards 2026 in\nMakassar, South Sulawesi, as an effort to encourage the emergence of\nmore young people actively providing solutions for society. The event,\nthemed \u2018Connected in Action\u2019, was attended by more than 500 participants\nfrom among students, university students, communities, social activists,\nand young entrepreneurs. This potential is also supported by South\nSulawesi\u2019s economic growth, which reached 6.88 per cent in the first\nquarter of 2026, placing the province as the region with the\nsixth-highest economic growth in Indonesia. Chief of Corporate Affairs\nAstra Boy Kelana Soebroto stated that the large number of young people\nin South Sulawesi is an important asset for delivering various\ninnovations that impact the community. \u2018The large number of young people\nin South Sulawesi is a strength that needs continuous support so it can\ndevelop into various actions that benefit society. Through the theme\n\u2019Connected in Action\u2019, Astra wants to provide a space for the younger\ngeneration to meet each other, share experiences, and strengthen\ncollaboration so that their concern and ideas can develop into a broader\nand more sustainable impact,\u2019 said Boy. The roadshow featured several\nspeakers, including Assistant I for Government and People\u2019s Welfare of\nthe Regional Secretariat of South Sulawesi Province Ishak Iskandar,\nrepresenting the Governor of South Sulawesi; Judge of the 17th SATU\nIndonesia Awards 2026 and Rector of YARSI University Prof.\u00a0Fasli Jalal;\nFounder of Young On Top and judge Billy Boen; Head of Corporate\nCommunications Astra Windy Riswantyo; and recipient of the 2017 SATU\nIndonesia Awards appreciation Jamaluddin. This activity was held\nconsidering the significant potential of the younger generation in South\nSulawesi. Based on projections from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS)\nin South Sulawesi Province in Figures 2026, approximately 2.41 million\nresidents in the province are in the 15-29 age range. Nationally,\nSulawesi Island has more than 5.2 million youths, or about 7.89 per cent\nof Indonesia\u2019s total youth. In addition to discussions on education,\nleadership, self-potential development, and collaboration, participants\nalso received inspiration from the story of Jamaluddin, recipient of the\n2017 SATU Indonesia Awards and driver of the Astra Prosperous Village in\nKanreapia, Gowa Regency.<\/p>",
