        "content": "<p>Astra gives scholarship<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): PT Astra International announced yesterday it<br>\nhad provided Rp 48 million (US$20,000) worth of scholarships to<br>\nstudents at Aceh's Syah Kuala University.<\/p>\n<p>Astra said in a statement the scholarships were part of the<br>\ncompany's commitment to providing Rp 500 million in scholarships<br>\nto the students of 10 universities across Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>The scholarships were presented to the Syah Kuala students<br>\nyesterday in a ceremony attended by Astra vice president<br>\ncommissioner Abdul Rachman Ramly, and Syah Kuala rector Prof.<br>\nDayan Dawood.<\/p>\n<p>Also yesterday Astra contributed Rp 40 million to the national<br>\nfoster parent program.
