        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2013 Astra, through Nurani Astra, has delivered 156 units of\nmedical equipment and 20 ambulances to the Indonesian Ministry of Health\nas part of post-disaster relief efforts for communities affected by\nflash floods and landslides in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West\nSumatra.<\/p>\n<p>This handover represents the continuation of Astra\u2019s humanitarian\nsupport for disaster-affected communities in Sumatra, intended to\nstrengthen healthcare services and provide direct benefits to residents\nacross the three provinces.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough Nurani Astra, we endeavour to be present and contribute to\nhelping communities facing post-disaster recovery. The distribution of\nambulances and medical equipment is expected to strengthen healthcare\nservices in affected areas, enabling communities to access medical\nassistance more quickly and effectively,\u201d stated Astra Chief of\nCorporate Affairs Boy Kelana Soebroto.<\/p>\n<p>The support has been realised through the distribution of 20\nambulances equipped with transport specifications for primary health\ncentres across affected regions. Sixteen ambulances were allocated to\nprimary health centres in Aceh and one unit to a regional hospital in\nAceh, with one ambulance each distributed to primary health centres in\nCentral Tapanuli and Padang Pariaman, and one to the regional hospital\nin Medan.<\/p>\n<p>Since December 2025, Astra has also conducted inspections and repairs\non 126 ambulances across affected areas, including 4 locations in Aceh,\n17 in North Sumatra, and 10 in West Sumatra, ensuring the readiness of\nhealthcare services for communities.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Astra through Astra Otoparts has distributed 156 units\nof medical equipment to support improved healthcare services in affected\nareas. The assistance comprises 122 units of medical equipment delivered\nto 8 regional hospitals in Aceh and 34 units handed over to the Medan\nMedical Equipment and Facility Safety Authority (BPAFK).<\/p>\n<p>Astra\u2019s commitment to strengthening community healthcare services\nacross Indonesia aligns with the company\u2019s vision of \u201cProspering\nTogether with the Nation\u201d and supports Indonesia\u2019s achievement of the\nSustainable Development Goals.<\/p>",
