        "content": "<p>Aspac Texmaco champions in Medan<\/p>\n<p>MEDAN, North Sumatra: Jakarta's Aspac Texmaco won the A Mild<br>\nSister Cities Cup 2003 basketball tournament here, defeating<br>\nSatria Muda Aritama 67-56 in the final on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n<p>The final was a reversal from the qualifying round, when<br>\nSatria Muda defeated Aspac Texmaco 62-57.<\/p>\n<p>Satria Muda's failure to repeat its victory from the<br>\nqualifying round may have been due to the absence of Wahyu<br>\nHidayat Jati, who is also a national team member.<\/p>\n<p>Aspac Texmaco dominated the entire game. They sprinted out to<br>\na 21-11 lead in the first quarter and held a 37-27 lead going<br>\ninto halftime. Satria Muda cut the lead to 43-36 at the end of<br>\nthe third quarter but could not overtake Aspac, which won by a<br>\nfinal score of 67-56.<\/p>\n<p>Finishing the tournament in third place was Bima Sakti Malam,<br>\nwhich defeated host team Angsapura Sania 65-62 earlier on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The teams taking part in the tournament were Angsapura Sania<br>\nMedan, Aspac Texmaco, Satria Muda Aritama, Bima Sakti Nikko<br>\nSteel, Medan Selection and Young Star Penang of Malaysia.--JP<\/p>",
