        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2014 PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Askrindo), part of\nthe state-owned holding company for insurance and guarantees, Indonesia\nFinancial Group (IFG), has distributed donations totaling Rp550 million\nto 550 orphans across Indonesia to mark Ramadan 1447 AH.<\/p>\n<p>Askrindo\u2019s President Director Fankar Umran said the aid was provided\nto orphans within the company\u2019s surroundings as well as at 13 orphanage\nfoundations in various cities nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The donations comprise school supplies and cash, totalling around\nRp550 million,\u2019 Umran told reporters after attending the Ramadan Safari\nand Iftar with PT Askrindo in Jakarta on Wednesday, 4 March.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the Ramadan Safari, this year\u2019s theme \u2018Spirit of the\nQur\u2019an: Realising Excellent, Sustainable Performance\u2019, aims to\nstrengthen relationships among individuals both within the company, the\ncommunity, and the general public.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The Ramadan Safari provides an opportunity for us to share happiness\nand foster ties with the community. Through this activity, Askrindo\nwants to continue to deliver benefits and nurture a spirit of care amid\nthe Ramadan momentum,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n<p>Umran stated that the distribution to orphans is also part of a\nseries of events celebrating Askrindo\u2019s 55th anniversary, which falls on\n6 April.<\/p>\n<p>Not only for orphans, he noted that the company is also providing\neducational support, including to Early Childhood Education (PAUD)\nteachers.<\/p>\n<p>The company also organised a number of other social activities in 11\ncities across its operational areas as a form of Corporate Social\nResponsibility and Environment (TJSL) to extend broader benefits to the\npublic.<\/p>\n<p>Umran said the total budget for the distribution of donations and for\nrunning various TJSL programmes in the 55th anniversary series reached\nRp1.77 billion.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We hope the donations will not only reflect the company\u2019s care but\nalso inspire and bring happiness to orphans as they observe Ramadan.\nThis activity is part of Askrindo\u2019s ongoing effort to contribute\nsustainably to society,\u2019 he added.<\/p>",
