The Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI) has officially announced the\ncall-up of 19 players to participate in a training camp as preparation\nfor the prestigious 2026 ASEAN Futsal Championship.<\/p>\n
The list was released by the head coach of the Indonesian national\nfutsal team, Hector Souto, following a rigorous selection process\nconducted with the technical staff.<\/p>\n
The training camp has been designed as the primary foundation to\nunify the team\u2019s vision and refine strategy. Hector Souto emphasised\nthat the main focus during this period is to build rapport amongst the\nplayers and develop tactics before competing at Southeast Asian\nlevel.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur focus now is to build chemistry and solid tactics during the\ntraining camp in order to achieve maximum results at the 2026 ASEAN\nFutsal Championship,\u201d Souto said in an official statement on Monday (16\nMarch).<\/p>\n
Souto added that the training camp is not merely a routine physical\nexercise, but a crucial stage for creating team cohesion.<\/p>\n
He expressed hope that the players could absorb the team\u2019s desired\nplaying philosophy to be fully prepared when official matches begin.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis training camp will be an important foundation for unifying our\nplaying vision during matches,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
The squad called up represents the strongest talent from the top\ndivision competition, the Pro Futsal League. The players come from seven\ndifferent clubs: Unggul FC, BlackSteel FC, Cosmo JNE, Pangsuma FC,\nBintang Timur Surabaya FC, FAFAGE Banua FC, and Kuda Laut Nusantara.<\/p>\n
In the defensive sector, Souto called up three goalkeeper options,\nincluding senior goalkeeper Muhammad Albagir.<\/p>\n
For the anchor position, Dewa Rizki and Peter Junior have been\nentrusted to maintain the team\u2019s depth.<\/p>\n
