        "content": "<p>As part of a commitment to sustainability and environmental care\nthrough Ascott CARES, the Ascott Bandung Region successfully conducted\nthe 2026 World Cleanup Day activities in Lembur Katumbiri, Bandung, on\n15 September 2026.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative involved employees from six properties under the\nAscott Bandung Region, namely Oakwood Merdeka Bandung, HARRIS &amp; POP!\nFestival CityLink Bandung, HARRIS Hotel &amp; Convention Ciumbuleuit\nBandung, Kimaya Braga Bandung, YELLO Hotel Paskal Bandung, and FOX Lite\nHotel Majalaya.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside the local community, participants engaged in cleaning up\nrivers and areas around Lembur Katumbiri. As one of Bandung\u2019s local\ntourist destinations, Lembur Katumbim faces environmental challenges due\nto waste carried from upstream areas, which impacts the cleanliness and\nenvironmental condition of the riverside.<\/p>\n<p>Through this activity, Ascott Bandung Region aims to provide a\ntangible contribution to creating a cleaner, healthier, and more\ncomfortable environment for both residents and tourists. This activity\nalso serves as a form of support for the potential of Lembur Katumbiri\nas a local tourist destination that can continue to develop.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough this World Cleanup Day activity, we hope that the\ncontribution made together with the community can provide a positive\nimpact, not only for the environment but also for the surrounding\ncommunity. With a cleaner and well-maintained environment, we hope\nLembur Katumbiri can become an increasingly comfortable and attractive\ndestination to visit,\u201d said Mr E.
