Ltd will set up a<br>\ntrading arm in Singapore to support the marketing of its glass<br>\nproducts in Asia.<\/p>\n<p>Asahimas, a major flat glass producer listed on the Jakarta<br>\nStock Exchange, announced yesterday that it plans to establish a<br>\ntrading company in cooperation with Glaverbel S.A., a Belgian<br>\nglass manufacturer.<\/p>\n<p>The trading company, to be named Glavermas Mirror Pte Ltd,<br>\nwill be the sole agent marketing Asahimas&apos; mirror products in<br>\nAsia and Australia, with the exception of Indonesia, the Middle<br>\nEast and Japan.<\/p>\n<p>The joint venture, which will be equally owned by Asahimas and<br>\nGlaverbel, will have a paid-up capital of approximately<br>\nS$200,000.
