Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2014 Technology aggregator Arupa Cloud Nusantara, which\nfocuses on cloud infrastructure solutions, has officially launched the\nCivo Indonesia Region with Civo. The sovereign public cloud platform is\ndesigned to support Kubernetes, virtual machines and modern application\ndevelopment for artificial intelligence (AI) and Indonesia\u2019s digital\neconomy.<\/p>\n
\u201cIndonesia has significant potential for adopting cloud-native\ntechnology, as businesses\u2019 need grows for infrastructure that is easier\nto manage, offers cost transparency and is designed to support modern\napplications,\u201d Civo Chief Commercial Officer Simon Hansford said in\nJakarta on Monday.<\/p>\n
He said the partnership with Arupa brings Civo\u2019s Kubernetes-first\ncloud platform directly to companies in Indonesia, backed by local\nexperts and an operating model tailored to the Indonesian market.<\/p>\n
The infrastructure is operated entirely by Arupa in Indonesia,\nproviding cloud-native capabilities with local support while ensuring\nthat customer data remains under Indonesian jurisdiction.<\/p>\n
Hansford said Civo Public Cloud is an enterprise-ready platform built\non open standards, with infrastructure designed to be fast, simple and\ncost-effective.<\/p>\n
\u201cThrough this local deployment in Jakarta, customers can access\nmanaged Kubernetes, virtual machines, managed PostgreSQL databases, load\nbalancers and block storage to meet a range of application and workload\nneeds,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Civo Chief Technology Officer Dinesh Majrekar said the platform\nsupports various infrastructure management tools, including\nKubernetes-native tooling, Terraform, CLI, REST API and a web\ndashboard.<\/p>\n
\u201cKubernetes gives development teams the flexibility to build, deploy\nand scale applications based on open standards without adding\nunnecessary infrastructure complexity,\u201d Majrekar said.<\/p>\n
He added that, by combining managed Kubernetes, integrated tools and\nsupport for modern cloud-native workloads, Civo aims to help teams spend\nless time managing infrastructure and focus more on developing and\nimproving applications.<\/p>\n
Majrekar said the launch of the Civo Indonesia Region was an\nimportant step for Arupa in expanding cloud infrastructure options for\ncompanies in Indonesia.<\/p>\n
