        "content": "<p>Ariawest's access lines up<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): PT Ariawest International, a joint operations<br>\npartner of state telecommunications operator PT Telkom announced<br>\non Monday that a survey done by an independent appraiser revealed<br>\nthat the company has built 354,879 access line units in West<br>\nJava.<\/p>\n<p>Company president John Vondras said the realization had<br>\nexceeded the company's construction target of 290,000 units as of<br>\nthe end of March.<\/p>\n<p>\"The result of the survey shows that we are committed to the<br>\ntelecommunications development of West Java. We are planning to<br>\nbuild more lines providing there is demand in the market. As<br>\ndemand has remained firm, we are planning to build some 40,000<br>\nmore lines for this year alone,\" Vondras said.<\/p>\n<p>The survey was done by PT Laksa Laksana, an independent<br>\nappraiser who was involved in counting the access line units<br>\nbuilt by Telkom's joint operations partners, during Telkom's<br>\ninitial public offering preparations.
