Java: A couple and their unborn child died<br>\nTuesday when the Argolawu express train on the Jakarta-Surakarta<br>\nline hit a minibus carrying five passengers on a railway crossing<br>\nhere.<\/p>\n<p>One of the victims was a woman in the late stage of pregnancy,<br>\nAntara said.<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses said the accident occurred at about 5 a.m. local<br>\ntime because the railway crossing guard had fallen asleep and<br>\nfailed to close the gate before the train reached the crossing.<\/p>\n<p>The couple who died were Rachmat Sugianto, 33, his wife,<br>\nLusiana, 28, and their baby who could not be saved.<\/p>\n<p>Two other passengers, Rachmat's mother, Eliawati, 54, and his<br>\nyounger brother, Budi Santoso, 33, who was driving the car, were<br>\nseriously injured and had to be hospitalized.<\/p>\n<p>Trianti Jayadi, one of their relatives, said the family was<br>\ntaking Lusiana to the Dr. Oen Solo Baru hospital to give birth.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, local police spokesman Lt.Col. Imam Suwangsa said<br>\nthe police had arrested the railroad crossing guard, Margono, 50,<br>\nand questioned Sukadi, the Argolawu driver.<\/p>",
