Travelers are grateful to the state railway company (PERUMKA)
\nthat has lately introduced new trains with improved services.
\nThey are the Argo Bromo (Jakarta-Surabaya route), Argo Gede
\n(Jakarta-Bandung route) and Argo Lawu (Jakarta-Solo route).<\/p>\n
When taking the Argo Lawu on Oct. 31 from Solo to Jakarta I
\nfound that the carriage and the toilet were clean, I felt the
\ncoolness of the airconditioned carriage, and the train was on
\ntime for both departure and arrival. It is a train that shows
\nquality in service.<\/p>\n
I hope the level of service will last, unlike my experiences
\ntraveling by the Mutiara and the Bima in the past. The service
\nwas good only at the beginning of operation. Are these trains
\nstill in operation?<\/p>\n
On my trip with the Argo Lawu some films were shown. I didn't
\nthink it was advisable to show a horror film followed by a film
\nwith a lot of sadistic and brutal action. There were numerous
\nchildren among the passengers. Only when the train arrived on the
\noutskirts of East Jakarta did PERUMKA show a third film suited
\nfor children: Aladdin.<\/p>\n
The impact of films showing violence is not directly felt, but
\nPERUMKA should be more selective in its choice of video films.<\/p>\n
