This testing facility serves as the most complete\ngovernment-owned international-standard proving ground in Southeast\nAsia, capable of providing international-standard testing services.<\/p>\n<p>However, questions have arisen regarding whether BPLJSKB\u2019s testing\nresults are recognised globally. \u201cThe goal is for the test results to be\nrecognised globally through the ASEAN Mutual Recognition Agreement\n(ASEAN MRA) scheme. Currently, BPLJSKB is also establishing cooperation\nwith various foreign technical services so that the testing conducted at\nBPLJSKB can be used for homologation purposes worldwide, particularly in\nEuropean countries,\u201d Iman told KOMPAS.com recently.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding facilities, the testing processes already utilise the\nUnited Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) standards,\napplicable to both conventional and electrified vehicles.
