        "content": "<p>JAKARTA - The Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP),\nMaruarar Sirait or Ara, has invited PT Bank Syariah Nasional or BSN to\nget involved in developing financing for low-income community housing\n(MBR) in the new city planned to be built in Tangerang Regency.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the government is preparing several strategic locations\nfor the development of new cities and subsidised flats, including land\nin Tangerang prepared by the Minister of Law, Supratman Andi Agtas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen also the third one, we talked about the new city plan, right,\nSir? So we have direct access, coincidentally the Minister of Law has\nprepared land of around 4.5 (hectares)-5 hectares in Tangerang,\u201d said\nAra during a discussion with BSN President Director Alex Sofjan Noor in\nJakarta on Wednesday (13\/5\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>According to her, one of those areas has the potential to become a\npilot project for BSN in new city development.<\/p>\n<p>Ara stated that the plan is a follow-up to the results of a meeting\ntwo weeks ago with the Chairman of the Housing Task Force (Satgas),\nHashim Djojohadikusumo.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the government team is still conducting surveys on several\nlocations deemed strategic and suitable for building new areas and\nsubsidised flats.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will convey it according to the meeting two weeks ago with Mr\nChairman of the Task Force, Mr Hashim. Now Mr Robe and the team are\nworking to survey strategic locations that are suitable for new cities\nand also for subsidised flats,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>She added that the new city concept is not only intended for MBR but\nalso for middle-income communities, complete with supporting\nfacilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe city will later be for MBR, also for middle-income.
