        "content": "<p>To support environmental protection efforts, the DKI Jakarta\nProvincial Government is holding the 2026 Pilah Olah Sampah Heroes\nawards.<\/p>\n<p>Nominations for people who could win in either of the two categories\ncan be submitted via www.jakarta.go.id\/pilaholahsampahheroes from 12 to\n25 October 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The winners will be announced and receive awards directly from the\nGovernor of DKI Jakarta at a Heroes\u2019 Day commemoration on 10 November\n2026.<\/p>\n<p>The awards are intended to recognise environmental champions who take\npractical action or actively encourage residents to care about\nwaste.<\/p>\n<p>There are two categories: Waste-Sorting and Processing Advocate, and\nInfluencer\/Key Opinion Leader (KOL), for people who consistently drive\nchange.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCome on, register yourself before 25 October 2026 for the chance to\nreceive an award directly from the Governor of DKI Jakarta,\u201d the DKI\nJakarta account said in an Instagram post quoted on Friday (22\nOctober).<\/p>\n<p>According to the provincial government\u2019s official website, the award\nwill recognise people considered most consistent in sorting and\nprocessing waste, making an impact and mobilising others in their\ncommunities.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Sorting\u2019 means using separate bins, keeping organic and inorganic\nwaste apart, doing so consistently, and undertaking activities to clean\nand process waste.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Processing\u2019 includes making compost, using maggots to break down\nwaste, producing eco-enzyme, recycling, using biodigesters and disposing\nof waste in appropriate places.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Mobilisation\u2019 includes encouraging family members and neighbours to\ntake part, forming groups, educating the public, reducing waste\ngenerated in an area and managing a Waste Bank.<\/p>\n<p>The Waste-Sorting and Processing Advocate category is for people\nselected for sorting and processing waste and encouraging others to\nparticipate.<\/p>\n<p>The Influencer category is for individuals who can persuade or\ninfluence residents to sort and process waste through social media.<\/p>\n<p>Competition requirements<\/p>\n<p>According to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government\u2019s official\nwebsite, applicants or nominees must meet the following\nrequirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>The competition is open to the public.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Participants must hold a DKI Jakarta identity card or live in DKI\nJakarta, as evidenced by a certificate of domicile.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>There is no entry fee.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Participants must register by completing the form at\nwww.jakarta.go.id\/form\/piliholahsampahheroes.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Waste-sorting and processing activities or campaigns must take\nplace within DKI Jakarta.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>By entering, participants agree that the campaign they submit may\nbe used by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government for publicity.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Applications must be submitted by 11.59pm WIB on 25 October\n2026.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>",
