        "content": "<p>TANGERANG \u2013 Drug trafficking fugitive Erwin Iskandar bin Iskandar,\nalias Ko Erwin, finally arrived at Terminal 1C of Soekarno-Hatta\nAirport, Tangerang, under the close supervision of officers from the\nDirectorate of Narcotics Crime (Dittipidnarkoba) of the National\nPolice\u2019s Criminal Investigation Division (Bareskrim Polri).<\/p>\n<p>The arrival of the methamphetamine distributor was brief and closed\nto the public, with his hands bound in yellow plastic ties. As he exited\nfrom the arrival gate, Ko Erwin appeared downcast and avoided media\nattention.<\/p>\n<p>His face was barely visible, as it was covered with a black cloth and\na black hat. He made no statement whilst walking towards the prepared\nvehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Ko Erwin was then immediately placed into a black Toyota Kijang\nInnova that had been waiting in the arrival area. The transfer process\noccurred quickly before the vehicle left the airport grounds.<\/p>\n<p>The Dittipidnarkoba Bareskrim Polri had previously taken over the\nmanhunt for Erwin, who was listed as a wanted person (DPO).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is correct that Dittipidnarkoba Bareskrim Polri has taken over\nthe manhunt for wanted person Erwin,\u201d said Brigadier General Eko Hadi\nSantoso, Director of Narcotics Crime at Bareskrim Polri, in his\nstatement on Thursday (26 February 2026).<\/p>\n<p>Erwin was designated as a wanted person with number:\nDPO\/23\/II\/RES.4.2.\/2026\/Dittipidnarkoba, accompanied by his\nphotograph.<\/p>\n<p>In the wanted person notice, Erwin is accused of violating Article\n114 paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 132 paragraph (1) and\/or\nArticle 137 letter a of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics in\nconjunction with Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code and\nLaw Number 1 of 2026 concerning Sentencing Adjustments.<\/p>\n<p>The takeover of the manhunt occurred amidst an investigation into\nalleged narcotics charges involving former Bima City Police Chief,\nSenior Commissioner Didik Putra Kuncoro.<\/p>\n<p>Erwin\u2019s name previously appeared in a statement dated 18 February\n2025 made by Didik.<\/p>\n<p>Ko Erwin, along with a distributor with initials B, alias Boy, are\nstated to have sent approximately 2.8 billion rupiah to the former Head\nof the Narcotics Unit at Bima City Police, First Lieutenant\nMalaungi.<\/p>\n<p>An amount of 1.8 billion rupiah is known to have originated from\ndistributor B during the period from June to November 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen from KE in December, and all of it was held in a collection\naccount under someone else\u2019s name,\u201d said Kombes Roman, Director of the\nNarcotics Investigation Directorate of the East Nusa Tenggara Regional\nPolice.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the flow of funds from drug distributors was\nreceived by First Lieutenant Malaungi either in cash or by transfer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom Distributor B received in cash by the former Head of the\nNarcotics Unit, then handed in cash to the former Bima City Police\nChief, then held in an account under someone else\u2019s name,\u201d Roman\nexplained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDistributor KE transferred to an account under someone else\u2019s name\ncontrolled by the former Head of the Narcotics Unit at Bima City, and\nafter being held in the account was withdrawn in cash,\u201d Roman\nstated.<\/p>",
