Appeal to Soeharto<\/p>\n

This is my hope for you, Soeharto, as a fellow Muslim. May his
\nchildren or those closest to him convey the following message to
\nhim.<\/p>\n
You must sincerely repent before Allah SWT. As the former
\nnumber one person in Indonesia, do something which will remain in
\nthe annals of our history as a radical reform undertaken by a
\nMuslim who really keeps himself subservient only to God.
\n1. Be honest with yourself and ask Allah SWT and the entire
\nIndonesian population to forgive you.
\n2. Return the assets which are not yours but belong by right to
\nthe Republic of Indonesia.
\n3. Order all men still under your influence to do the same.
\nGod willing, only Allah will decide whether or not the Indonesian
\npublic will forgive you. Why should you feel afraid to do all
\nthis? Poverty? Losing face? Seeing your children and
\ngrandchildren suffer? To be belittled by other world leaders? Or
\nto be mobbed to death?<\/p>\n
My brother, Soeharto, if you fear Allah SWT, the other fears
\nwill seem meaningless.<\/p>\n
Instead, you will become a hero of mankind, serving
\nparticularly as a model for leaders in other Islamic countries.
\nHundreds of millions of Muslims the world over will pray for you
\nand your family. May Allah SWT accept your dedication and
\ndevotion. Have you got the courage?<\/p>\n
