        "content": "<p>The Indonesian Employers\u2019 Association (Apindo) has affirmed it will\noversee 14 priority issues related to the business world by initiating\nthe formation of a Task Force for Debottlenecking Business Barriers. The\ntask force functions to identify, map in detail, oversee, and ensure the\nresolution of various problems until they are completely settled.<\/p>\n<p>Apindo Chairwoman Shinta W. Kamdani revealed that the 14 priority\nbusiness issues range from certainty of industrial raw material supply,\ngas prices, logistics, nutrient-level policies, spatial planning,\nfinancial reporting obligations, to mineral and coal RKABs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor us, every barrier that is successfully resolved is a knot untied\nso the ship can sail again. Because every step that facilitates the\nbusiness world will open more hope and jobs,\u201d Shinta said in a statement\nin Jakarta on Thursday, 13 August 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the issues include halal certification, waste\nmanagement\/Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), commodity exports,\nregulations hindering the tourism sector, and the refinement of the\nManpower Bill.<\/p>\n<p>She stated that a number of inputs from the business community have\nbegun to receive government responses as part of efforts to improve the\nnational business climate.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, the urgency of reforming the real sector is also\nreflected in Indonesia\u2019s employment challenges, where around 67 percent\nof total unemployment consists of young people dominated by Generation\nZ, while nearly 60 percent of the workforce is still employed in the\ninformal sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis condition shows that Indonesia\u2019s economic agenda is not only\nabout creating more jobs, but also ensuring the availability of\nproductive, quality, formal, and sustainable employment,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>She added that improving the business climate must go hand in hand\nwith efforts to expand sources of economic growth through regional\ninvestment.<\/p>",
