"summary": "The Indonesian Textile Association (API) is leveraging the Agreement on Reciprocal Trade (ART) with the United States, which introduces zero per cent import tariffs on Indonesian textile and garment products via a tariff-rate quota scheme, to revitalise the national industry. This policy is expected to enhance competitiveness in the vast US market, support around 4 million workers, and impact 20 million Indonesians economically, with current exports valued at $4 billion aiming for tenfold growth over the next decade. To capitalise on this opportunity, API is organising the Indo Intertex & Inatex 2026 exhibition in Jakarta, featuring over 800 participants, 1,500 global brands, and more than 35,000 professional visitors from 29 countries, alongside seminars on trends, sustainability, and innovation in the sector.",
