On the same occasion, New Forests\nDirector of Investments (Asia) Sanjiv Louis stated that Indonesia has\ngreat potential to continue strengthening sustainable forest and\nlandscape management through collaboration between the government, the\nprivate sector, financial institutions, and the community. According to\nhim, natural resource management that is able to balance economic,\nsocial, and environmental aspects will be an important factor in\nsupporting green economic growth and climate resilience in the future.\n\u201cWe see that Indonesia has great opportunities to develop various\nsustainable forest management and land use initiatives. Strong\ncollaboration between business actors, the government, and development\npartners can support increased landscape productivity, protection of\nenvironmental values, as well as the creation of long-term benefits for\nthe community,\u201d said Sanjiv Louis. He added that New Forests has\nexperience in sustainable investment management, innovative financing,\nand developing partnerships that support responsible natural resource\nmanagement.
