(EMAS) have signed a Gold Sales &amp;\nPurchase Agreement with PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk. (ANTM). A press\nrelease received by CNBC Indonesia stated that the signing was made\nthrough two subsidiaries, PT Bumi Suksesindo as an MDKA subsidiary and\nPT Puncak Emas Tani Sejahtera as EMAS\u2019s subsidiary. The GSPA is valid\nfor two years with a transaction volume of 3 tonnes per year with an\noption to add a further 3 tonnes per year. Bumi Suksesindo and Puncak\nEmas act as sellers, while Antam acts as the buyer of the gold granules\nrefined domestically. Albert Saputro, President Director of Merdeka\nCopper Gold, said the collaboration is a strategic step to ensure the\nabsorption of gold production within the Merdeka Group, while\nstrengthening the national upstream-downstream supply chain. \u201cWith\nproduction base from Tambang Emas Tujuh Bukit and Tambang Emas Pani, we\nneed a stable and measured offtake structure. This GSPA provides the\nassurance of production absorption while strengthening our contribution\nto the domestic gold industry,\u201d said Albert.
