We would hereby like to publicly announced that recently some
\nirresponsible people claiming to be members of the Antigraft
\nCommission in Jakarta or other regions in Indonesia have written
\ndecisions and others kinds of letters.<\/p>\n
This commission has not yet been established.<\/p>\n
What has been established is the Team for the Preparation for
\nthe Establishment of the Commission on the Eradication of
\nCriminal Acts of Corruption.<\/p>\n
Therefore, any letters or decrees bearing the name Antigraft
\nCommission purportedly located in the Directorate General of
\nPublic Law Administration, Fourth Floor of the Ministry of
\nJustice and Human Rights building are fake, and harmful and
\nmisleading to the community.<\/p>\n
We also wish to inform the public that until now the Team for
\nthe Preparation for the Establishment of the Commission on the
\nEradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption, which has been set up
\nby virtue of Minister of Justice and Human Rights Decree dated
\nJune 7, 2000, No. C-45.PR.09.03, has never issued a decision on
\nappointments or any other kind of letter.<\/p>\n
The current preparatory team is assigned to prepare a bill on
\nthe establishment of a Commission on the Eradication of Criminal
\nActs of Corruption.<\/p>\n
Any persons or institutions obviously involved in the issuance
\nof these fake letters or deliberately using the name of the
\nCommission will be reported to the authorities pursuant to the
\nprevailing laws.<\/p>\n
