Long queues at official\nboutiques, particularly when small-gramme stocks are available, have led\nsome people to opt for entrusting purchases to others willing to queue.\nHowever, behind this trend, Antam has firmly warned the public to\nexercise caution and avoid using jastip services for gold purchases.\nAntam\u2019s Corporate Secretary, Wisnu Danandi, stated that the company does\nnot recommend jastip practices due to the various risks they pose to\nconsumers. \u201cANTAM firmly does not recommend and does not support the\npurchase of precious metal products through jastip,\u201d Wisnu said in a\nwritten statement to Kompas.com on Tuesday (22\/4\/2026). \u201cTransactions\nvia jastip carry the potential for various risks, including unfair\nprices, uncertainty over product authenticity, and the absence of\nofficial transaction guarantees from ANTAM,\u201d he added. Additionally, the public can\nvisit Antam gold boutiques directly, which now operate a hybrid queuing\nsystem combining online and walk-in queues.
