        "content": "<p>The price of gold bullion produced by PT Aneka Tambang (Persero)\nTbk., or Antam, stood at Rp 2,670,000 per gram on Monday, 6 July 2026.\nThe Antam gold price was stagnant compared to trading at the end of last\nweek. Price stagnation also occurred in gold buyback transactions, which\nremained unchanged at Rp 2,429,000 per gram today. Tax provisions apply\nto every gold bullion transaction. The resale of gold to PT Antam Tbk\nwith a value above Rp 10 million is subject to Article 22 income tax of\n1.5 percent for holders of a tax identification number (NPWP) and 3\npercent for those without an NPWP. The tax is directly deducted from the\ntotal buyback value. Meanwhile, gold bullion purchases are also subject\nto Article 22 income tax in accordance with Minister of Finance\nRegulation Number 34\/PMK.10\/2017. The purchase tax rate is set at 0.45\npercent for buyers with an NPWP and 0.9 percent for those without an\nNPWP. Every gold purchase transaction is accompanied by a tax\nwithholding receipt.
