        "content": "<p>The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has transferred another\ncustoms official in the importation bribery case, namely Budiman Bayu\nPrasojo (BBP), who serves as Head of the Excise Intelligence Section at\nthe Directorate General of Customs and Excise. Budiman will soon stand\ntrial.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, Friday (26\/6), KPK investigators together with public\nprosecutors have carried out the transfer of the suspect, evidence, and\ncase file, or stage two, for suspect BBP in the alleged corruption case\nof bribery related to customs and excise at the Directorate General of\nCustoms and Excise,\u201d KPK spokesperson Budi told reporters on Friday\n(26\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Budi stated that this transfer indicates the construction of the case\nalong with the evidence obtained has been declared complete to be\nsubsequently tested in the judicial process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHandling corruption cases in the customs sector is part of the law\nenforcement effort to maintain the integrity of public services, protect\nstate revenue, and create clean and just governance,\u201d Budi said.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the KPK had also transferred the case files of three\nDirectorate General of Customs and Excise officials who are suspects in\nthe importation corruption case. The three will also soon stand trial.\nThey are:<\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li><p>Rizal (RZL), Director of Enforcement and Investigation at the\nDirectorate General of Customs and Excise for the period 2024 to January\n2026;<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Sisprian Subiaksono (SIS), Head of the Sub-Directorate of\nEnforcement and Investigation Intelligence at the Directorate General of\nCustoms and Excise;<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Orlando Hamonangan Sianipar (ORL), Head of the Intelligence\nSection at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The first hearing for the bribery and gratification case involving\nthe importation of goods with the three officials from the Directorate\nGeneral of Customs and Excise at the Ministry of Finance as defendants\nwill be held next week. Prosecutors will read out the indictments\nagainst the three.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe inform you that the registrar of the Central Jakarta District\nCourt has registered three corruption case files, namely case number 35\non behalf of defendant Rizal, case number 36 on behalf of defendant\nSisprian Subiaksono, and case number 37 on behalf of defendant Orlando\nHamonangan,\u201d said the spokesperson for the Central Jakarta District\nCourt in a statement on Thursday (25\/6).<\/p>\n<p>This case will be tried by a panel of judges chaired by Brely Yuniar\nDien Wardi Haskori, with members Edward Agus and Nofalinda Arianti. The\nfirst hearing will be held on Friday (3\/7).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe panel of judges has determined that the indictment reading\nhearing will be read out on 3 July 2026,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>For information, three private sector defendants in this case have\nalready undergone their sentencing hearings. They are defendant I John\nField, head of Blueray Cargo; defendant II Deddy Kurniawan Sukolo,\nOperations Manager of Blueray Cargo; and defendant III Andri, head of\nthe documents team at Blueray Cargo.<\/p>\n<p>The following are the complete sentencing demands for the three\ndefendants:<\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li><p>John Field: 3 years in prison and a fine of Rp 300 million,\nsubsidiary to 100 days of confinement.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Deddy Kurniawan Sukolo: 2.5 years in prison and a fine of Rp 200\nmillion, subsidiary to 80 days of confinement.<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Andri: 2.5 years in prison and a fine of Rp 200 million,\nsubsidiary to 80 days of confinement.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ol>",
