Febryan and Anggi were former classmates at a vocational high school\nin Bogor Regency. Febryan contacted Anggi via social media direct\nmessage, leading to intense communication until they met on Saturday, 2\nMay 2026.<\/p>\n
\u2018The suspect had harboured feelings for the victim since their school\ndays,\u2019 stated Bogor City Police Chief Kombes Rio Wahyu Anggoro.<\/p>\n
However, according to Febryan\u2019s police statement, the first meeting\ndid not go smoothly. Febryan claimed he was hurt by Anggi\u2019s remarks\nabout his parents.<\/p>\n

A subsequent meeting took place on Friday, 22 May\u2014the night before\nAnggi was brutally murdered. Feigning hurt, Febryan planned to trap\nAnggi during this encounter.<\/p>\n
Febryan had prepared a machete and a tie in his bag. Anggi arrived in\nher own car to meet him. Inside the vehicle, Febryan demanded money from\nAnggi under the guise of seeking forgiveness for her remarks that had\nhurt him.<\/p>\n

After Anggi lost consciousness from being strangled, Febryan dumped\nher body from the Bogor Ring Road overpass. He then fled with her Rp4\nmillion cash and car, only to be arrested on the Cisumdawu Toll\nRoad.<\/p>\n

The case spread widely online, with rumours suggesting Anggi and\nFebryan were in a romantic relationship. However, Anggi\u2019s family has\ndenied this. Humaira, 35, Anggi\u2019s sister, confirmed she had a boyfriend\nwho was set to propose next month.<\/p>\n
