Deputy Coordinator of KontraS, Andrie Yunus, has expressed thanks to\nall parties for their support in following up on the acid attack case\nagainst him. Andrie described the acid attackers as cowards.<\/p>\n
\u201cHello friends, thank you for all forms of support given to me in\nfacing terror from cowardly individuals,\u201d Andrie said in an audio\nrecording shared by KontraS via its Instagram account, as seen on Friday\n(3\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n
Andrie stated that he will remain strong and resilient. Of course, he\nsaid, this is due to the full support from various parties.<\/p>\n
\u201cI will remain strong, remain resilient, of course with the full\nsupport from all of you friends, a luta continua! Long live the\nstruggle!\u201d said Andrie.<\/p>\n
KontraS in that post stated that Andrie\u2019s audio recording was taken\non 1 April 2026. KontraS noted that Andrie is currently still in\nintensive care in the HCU room at RSCM.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis audio recording was taken on 1 April 2026. Andrie Yunus is\ncurrently still in intensive care in the HCU room. Both the patient,\nfamily, legal representatives, and hospital parties prohibit visits from\nanyone,\u201d wrote KontraS.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe patient has the right to safe, quality health services, as well\nas protection of privacy and peace during the treatment period, and this\nis guaranteed by law,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n
As is known, Andrie Yunus became a victim of an acid attack on\nThursday night (12\/3). Puspom TNI then arrested four people suspected of\nbeing the perpetrators of the acid attack on Andrie Yunus. All four are\nknown to be members of Denma Bais TNI from the Navy (AL) and Air Force\n(AU) branches.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe convey that all four suspected perpetrators are members of Denma\nBais TNI, not from any unit, but from Denma Bais TNI,\u201d said TNI Puspom\nChief Major General TNI Yusri Nuryanto during a press conference at TNI\nHeadquarters, Jakarta, on Wednesday (18\/3).<\/p>\n
The four suspects are initialled NDP, SL, BHW, and ES. Puspom TNI is\ncurrently conducting further investigations.<\/p>\n
Recently, the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) has urged\nthe TNI to carry out the investigation into the acid attack case against\nKontraS activist Andrie Yunus transparently. Komnas HAM even requested\nthat the perpetrators\u2019 identities be announced to the public.<\/p>\n
\u201cKomnas HAM encourages transparency in the law enforcement process,\nincluding immediately announcing the perpetrators\u2019 identities to the\npublic, involving external supervision in the law enforcement process,\nproviding access to Komnas HAM to meet and request statements from the\nsuspects,\u201d said Komnas HAM commissioner Saurlin P Siagian to reporters\non Friday (3\/4).<\/p>\n
Komnas HAM is known to have requested information from several TNI\nofficials regarding the handling of this acid terror case.
