        "content": "<p>Andrian may return to Games training<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Tennis Association&apos;s chairman,<br>\nSarwono Kusumaatmadja, said Saturday that Andrian Raturandang,<br>\nwho was dismissed from the 19th SEA Games training camp because<br>\nof his weak physical condition and undisciplined behavior, might<br>\nbe allowed to return.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Andrian can return to the training camp if his condition<br>\nimproves, provided he changes his attitude. If he doesn&apos;t, we<br>\nwon&apos;t recruit him although he&apos;s a good player,&quot; Sarwono said.<\/p>\n<p>Andrian, who suffered dehydration during a Davis Cup tie<br>\nagainst the Philippines in Manila last month, has apologized to<br>\nthe association for misbehaving during the training camp.<\/p>\n<p>The association is scheduled to meet today to decide whether<br>\nto pick Andrian for the Group I Davis Cup tie against New Zealand<br>\nnext month and the SEA Games, which takes place here from Oct. 11<br>\nto Oct. 19.<\/p>\n<p>While the tennis squad&apos;s preparations for the SEA Games have<br>\nbeen relatively smooth, the same cannot be said for the<br>\nIndonesian Gymnastics Association, which is still having problems<br>\nfinding an appropriate training hall for its rhythmic gymnasts.<\/p>\n<p>Frederick Huma, the gymnastics body&apos;s deputy training chief,<br>\nsaid the 144-square-meter Senayan hall does not meet the<br>\ninternational standard requirement for the event, which has to<br>\ntake place in a 169-square-meter hall.<\/p>\n<p>All gymnasts are currently practicing at the Senayan hall but<br>\nFrederick said the city administration has allowed the<br>\nassociation to use the new gymnastics hall on Jl. Raden Inten,<br>\nEast Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>The 25 athletes will face transportation problems because they<br>\nhave to travel about 25 kms from the Hotel Atlet Century Park,<br>\nCentral Jakarta, to reach the new hall.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We&apos;ll rent a house near the hall,&quot; Frederick said on how the<br>\nproblem would be resolved.<\/p>\n<p>Archery<\/p>\n<p>The Games training director Djoko Pramono said he had received<br>\na protest letter from five national archers.<\/p>\n<p>Kompas reported Dahliana, Purnama Pandiangan, Lucia Elizabeth,<br>\nYuliasih and Dwi Novita had protested about coach Donald<br>\nPandiangan, who took the Indonesian team to the Olympic silver<br>\nmedal in 1988 in Seoul, South Korea.<\/p>\n<p>They said Donald was a demanding and uncommunicative person.<br>\nDonald left the training in Cinere, South Jakarta, after hearing<br>\nthe athletes had complained about him.<\/p>\n<p>Djoko said he had spoken to the athletes and had asked for<br>\ninput from the Indonesian Archery Association but had yet to meet<br>\nDonald.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The decision will be made after I get all the information I<br>\nneed,&quot; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Boxers Martin Sihombing, Victor Ramos and Hengky Tobias, who<br>\nare being groomed for the Games, reached the third round of the<br>\nYMCA amateur championships and Adajania Cup in New Delhi<br>\nSaturday.<\/p>\n<p>Compatriots La Paena Masara and Dufri Masihor were scheduled<br>\nto fight Sunday evening.
